Victoria Beckham ‘finding it difficult to take a back seat’ amid Brooklyn’s wedding

Victoria Beckham is finding taking a back seat in planning her son Brooklyn Beckham's wedding "difficult" as she "likes to take control," a source has claimed.

The 47 year old's eldest son will marry actress Nicola Peltz at her £76m family estate in Florida on Saturday in a lavish ceremony that will be attended by a whole host of A-list guests.

And as the nuptials will take place at Nicola's family home, it is thought that her family have taken over the planning of the event – something Victoria has struggled with.

A source told OK!: "Victoria likes to take control of things but this wedding is being completely organised by Nicola's family.

"She's had to take a back seat which she is finding a bit difficult, but she understands and just wants them to have the best day."

The source added how the wedding happening so soon after a burglary on the Beckhams' London home has been "perfect timing".

They continued: "The Beckhams are really relaxed out in Miami, the break has come at a perfect time following the burglary.

"David and Victoria both have very demanding careers and often feel they live separate lives but the burglary has really made them realise how much family means to them so it's lovely they're able to spend this time together."

Fashion designer Victoria has even had the job of creating the bride's wedding dress taken away from her, with Nicola opting for a Valentino dress.

Nicola is said to have flown to Rome, Italy, with celebrity stylist Leslie Fremar in tow – whom she hired to help her choose her outfit.

Leslie has worked with the likes of Demi Moore and Charlize Theron, to name a few.

In Rome, the pair visited the Valentino headquarters with Nicola having now confirmed that her gown will be designed by the fashion house’s Pierpaolo Piccioli.

It was here that Nicola's said to have found her "fairy tale dress".

A source told Mail Online: "Nicola trusts Leslie implicitly and, while her dress is being made by Valentino, Leslie is the person she has turned to help with how she will accessorise and how she will have her hair and make-up."
