Vince Gill has teamed up with Mickey Guyton for a duet that is going to be used in the two-time Super Bowl winning NFL quarterback Kurt Warner‘s biopic.
The song “Love Changes Everything,” is going to be in the movie American Underdog which has been rescheduled to be released on Christmas day.
The movie will portray the life and pro career of Kurt Warner, who is widely regarded as the greatest undrafted player of the National Football League. The movie will star Zacharay Levi as Warner, Anna Pacquin as Brenda, Warner’s wife and Dennis Quaid as legendary coach Dick Vermeil, under the direction of John and Andrew Erwin.
Gill told Billboard that he wanted to sing a duet with Guyton ever since he heard her sing in an event.
“I went and introduced myself and told her that someday we’d sing together because I really loved her voice,” Gill said. “Finally, that has come true.”
“This great Tom Douglas song is better because of her being a part of it,” he added. “I look forward to seeing this movie because I’m a big sports nut and I think a lot of Kurt.”
