You will never believe what the Vengaboys look like now! Iconic nineties Dutch dance group are unrecognisable as they tour Australia – 25 years after releasing their hit song We Like To Party

The Vengaboys are back in town! And you’ll never believe what they look like now.

It’s twenty five years since the iconic nineties Dutch dance group first delighted the world with tracks like Boom, Boom, Boom, Boom!!, We’re Going to Ibiza, and We Like to Party.

To celebrate their 25th anniversary, the squad has come Down Under and they performed at Luna Park in Sydney on Thursday.

The group remains as flamboyant as ever as they all rocked mismatched outfits on-stage with hints of leopard print, feathers, gold chunky chains, army print and denim.

Although their style has remained the same, they have changed up their hairstyles and Donny Latupeirissa had added a few more tattoos to his body.

Denise Post-Van Rijswijk, 44, is now a blonde diva and has ditched the red locks she was known for in the 90s, while her bandmate Robin Pors, 45, doesn’t look like the fresh-shaven twenty-something that he was during the band’s peak.

Donny has also scrapped his coloured blue hair for a more natural look while Kim Sasbone, 48, now has gorgeous long brown locks.

On stage at the Sydney concert, Kim wore glittery army print trousers, an army print jacket, high black boots and she accesorised with chunky gold jewellery.

The lead singer wore the most toned-down outfit as her bandmate Denise rocked a leopard print jumpsuit with bright pink details.

The group looked ecstatic to be back together as they all smiled and posed outside their hotel before performing to 3,000 people at Luna Park’s The Big Top.

It wasn’t just the women in the group that were dressing just as camp as in the 90s, Pors, 45, went for a double denim look with a pink feather boa while Donny went for a darker animal print and fringe ensemble.

The Vengaboys kicked off their New Zealand and Australia tour on in Auckland on February 4 before playing three Queensland shows, one in Melbourne and one in Sydney.

They’re now onto the last leg of their tour as they will play Hindley Street Music Hall in Adelaide on Saturday and finish it off at Metro City in Perth on Sunday.

The Vengaboys have a soft spot for Australia and have played here many times.

In 2020, they reworked their classic song Up & Down with Aussie DJ Timmy Trumpet after the track went viral on TikTok.

‘We’ve been following Timmy since his sensational gigs at Tomorrowland,’ the group said at the time.

‘During our Australian tour, we ended up in his studio in Sydney and made a festival version of Up & Down just for fun. We were stoked and immediately could feel it was a hit in the making!’
