Zac Brown Band released a new music video for “The Man Who Loves You The Most,” on Friday (March 4).
The video, which features heartwarming moments, was directed by Jocelyn Cooper. It is described as “love letter to father-daughter pairs everywhere.”
The visual shows a lonely young woman, played by actress Reilly Baker, glancing through old videotapes of herself and her father (played by Corey Landis), reminiscing her childhood, her college days, graduation, and her wedding ceremony.
The story ends with the girl’s phone showing a text message from her mother that says her father has passed away. “Remember that he’s always with you,” assures the mother.
ZBB originally released “The Man Who Loves You Most” last year. The band’s frontman Zac Brown wrote the song while he was in quarantine during the Covid-19 pandemic, as a tribute to his daughters.
“As a father to four girls myself, I know firsthand how special the father-daughter bond is,” Zac said about the video. “When creating this video, it was important to make something that serves as a reminder of the importance of our loved ones and that through the good times and the bad, a father’s love will always endure.”
