Eerie drone footage has revealed the rotting remains of an abandoned mental hospital and a nearby street.
The creepy video shows no signs of life in any of the houses along Firth Street in the village of Roslin, near Edinburgh.
The footage also shows the long-empty Roslynlee Hospital, a former mental hospital that has been closed for more than 12 years after it was shuttered in 2011,EdinburghLive reported.
The video, shot by Simply Scotland Photography and shared to YouTube on Saturday (May 6), shows the windows at the former NHS site have been boarded up since its closure, with the overall structure looking old but still solid.

In contrast, the homes on Firth Street are shown to be badly damaged, with huge parts of the buildings scattered on the floor below.
Overgrown vegetation and rust has taken over the village’s buildings and fences have been put up around the sites to stop people from getting in.
Despite the poor quality of the area, the whole site is set to be redeveloped into a swanky new set of properties, which will be dubbed the St. Margarets area.

“Part of the wider masterplan for the former Rosslynlee Hospital and a new stand-alone village, St. Margarets will feature 121 new four, five and six bedroom detached homes.
“Set within a parkland environment of mature woodland with breath-taking views, the development is in an idyllic location, offering the best of both worlds in a rural setting and close to the city.”
