Bloke discovers he’s famous ‘Thanos guy’ on Google Maps after neighbours visit

A bloke, who became famous as the 'Thanos guy' on Google Maps, only found out about his fame when his neighbours came to visit him.

Marshall Julius took to Twitter with a screenshot of himself on the Street View as he stands his wheelie bins, wearing a t-shirt, shorts and the Infinity Gauntlet worn by Thanos from Marvel's Avengers End Game.

The giant purple alien spent the blockbuster comic book movies hunting down six infinity stones to possess all the power imaginable.

The hilarious snap had apparently been circulating online for a while before Marshall found out about it from a neighbour who came to visit him.

The dad tweeted: "My neighbour popped round with his son. He wanted to meet me as, at least in their house, I'm the "Famous Google Maps Thanos Guy". Turns out I was snapped on Street View a few years ago!"

The post has received over 500 likes since it was posted on Twitter at 12pm on May 3.

Google Maps fans thought the author's photo was hilarious, with some branding it the "greatest thing ever" and others mocked his bare feet saying he used the powers of the infinity stones to make his shoes vanish.

One said: "This is so bad*ss."

Another wrote: "What do you mean, you were snapped? You're the one with the glove."

A third added: "With my luck it would’ve been dawn and I would’ve been in my underwear."

A fourth replied: "I think your plan to snap things might not have included your footwear."

The news comes after Pornhub legend Mia Khalifa has demanded to be called Thanos if she gets her hands on her four dream gemstones.

The model and OnlyFans star has just touched down in Italy but her head was fully in Marvel's Cinematic Universe on Tuesday night.

Sharing an Instagram post of four dazzling gemstones adorning a woman's hand, Mia's mind immediately went to the Avengers' supervillain, Thanos.

Mia shared a photo of the handmade rings from Los Angeles-based jewellery designer Jacquie Aiche, with the caption: "I'm obsessed but if I get these you all have to call me Thanos."
