A brilliant cake maker created a life-size replica of an English Bulldog for the pet's birthday celebration.
Lara Mason, the owner of Cake Anything was asked to create the unique design by TeamDogs user Lauren Blake to mark her pooch Dave's ninth birthday.
The tasty treat would be wearing a sailor uniform to match the outfit Dave would be wearing on his big day.
The result was incredibly life-like with stunning detail that many would doubt it was actually even cake!
Lara, from Walsall, West Midlands, spent three days making the cake and documented her process on TikTok and Facebook. She has gained more than 1.5 million followers and 32 million likes.

She told TeamDogs : "It is one of the more unusual orders – however those are always the most fun to do!"
Lara is no stranger to making unusual cakes as she has previously made a 4ft Moana and a life-size replica of Harry and Megan, which was displayed at the Cake International event at NEC Birmingham in 2018.
Speaking about her latest request, she said on TikTok: “A lovely couple came to me and asked me if I could make a life-size cake of their dog, and I just couldn’t turn down the challenge because I love dogs. They wanted a really realistic cake.”
Lara started with the frame before layering buttercream, sponge and ganache to fill out the cake. She used a knife to carve out the features, and icing to make the clothes.

Although the cake was for his owner’s consumption and not his own, Dave still had plenty of dog treats on his big day so he didn't feel left out.
