Charles and Camilla’s ‘secret son’ compares himself to William in strange photos

An Australian man claiming to be Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles' son has posted bizarre new photos showing the supposed “resemblance” between Prince William and himself as a younger man.

Simon Dorante-Day has fought for years to have what he regards as his “true parentage” acknowledged.

The 54-year-old engineer maintains that he was born when Charles and Camilla were first dating, but was put up for adoption to cover up a potential scandal.

Dorante-Day is determined to prove his unfounded theory that he, and not William, is the second in line to the throne.

His latest gambit is to post a composite photo that shows himself when he was in his early twenties alongside William when he was around the same age.

Supporters commented that the resemblance is “too visible” for the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall to deny.

Several people urged him to get a DNA test to establish his heritage once and for all.

Dorante-Day has posted dozens of photos to his Facebook page that supposedly highlight his close resemblance to members of the Royal Family.

He has even claimed that when he was a child his appearance was surgically altered to reduce his resemblance to his secret parents, without providing evidence.

Alongside a childhood photo of himself dressed as Sixties advertising mascot The Milky Bar Kid, he wrote: “This was at the Methodist church and for years I wondered why we switched from Methodist church to Anglican Church – well the timing was the same as the school change, and the eye colour change!”

Dorante-Day says that his “true parents” would have been powerless to prevent un-named “shadowy powers” from enacting the cover-up.

He says that when he was born “at that stage there would be little Charles and Camilla could have done other than be bystanders and watch from the sidelines.”

Charles and Camilla met for the first time at a polo match at Windsor Great Park in 1970. They started dating, but Charles then left to serve in the Royal Navy for several months.

By the time he returned. Camilla had moved on. She married Andrew Parker Bowles in 1973, which Charles met Diana Spencer after dating her older sister Sarah, and married her in 1981.

According to Charles’s authorised biography, he rekindled his romance with Camilla in 1986. She divorced her husband in 1995, and Charles and Diana’s divorce was finalised the following year.

In 1997, shortly after Charles hosted a 50th birthday party for Camilla at his country home, Highgrove, Diana died in a car accident in Paris.

Two years later, in 1999, the couple really went public by leaving Camilla’s sister’s birthday party together. They announced their engagement early in 2005 and married in April of that year.

They have no children.

The pair have never publicly commented on the unfounded allegations.
