Sperm donors have slammed a lesbian couple for mixing samples and creating a semen "cocktail" to conceive in a process that has been compared to a three-man "orgy".

Three men thought they were the only one donating to the couple and that the baby would be their's.

However, the woman actually drove across Sydney, Australia during lockdown in 2021 – when travel was prohibited – to collect samples from different men.

The men only found out what had really happened when they stumbled across a TikTok video, in which the women revealed they had been rotating between the men.

They had no idea whether the child would be of Indian, Chinese or Australian descent.

Speaking to news.com.au's Kidspot, one man – given the pseudonym Trevor – said: "From a moral point of view, I don’t feel it’s right mixing men’s semen, like an orgy, for the purpose of creating a child.

"It was like they’d had sex with three men at one time."

The men offered to donate their sperm after the lesbian couple posted on a Facebook group in October 2020.

The birth was announced on June 4 but their pride in doing something good for the couple was soon replaced by horror.

Another of the men – using the pseudonym Harry – said: "I was really upset, because all the time I thought it was my baby. When they became pregnant, they told me and sent me a video of their gender reveal. I asked them what they would call her and when she was due.

"I feel cheated for something I was giving out freely. I don’t know why anyone would do that and don’t know if they understand the consequences."

Harry explained that the couple seemed "in a rush" throughout the whole process. They didn't ask him for STI or genetic testing and skipped a day on the two donation cycles he did.

He added that they apologised for not telling him about their plans after the birth and that the child doesn't have any of his features.

Trevor said the baby has a "lot of similarities" to his other donor children.

The couple have since made another TikTok explaining that they are waiting on DNA test results to reveal who the father is.

A spokesman for the Facebook group said: “It is the first time it’s been reported. Some people have used two donors and have told them they are battling the clock and then set up a genetic test to find out who the baby belongs to, but even that is quite unusual.”
