‘Crashed African UFO’ debunked as award-winning architect slams alien conspiracy

The award-winning architect behind a futuristic South African building has slammed alien conspiracy theorists for claiming the structure is an 'abandoned space craft.'

Krynauw Nel reached out to the Daily Star after self-professed ET expert, Scott C. Waring claimed he found a UFO in South Africa that he believed had been ditched by an alien who was now living among humans.

The Director of Krynauw Nel Associates Architects in Johannesburg, Gauteng, explained that the structure was actually built to protect a cave containing fossils that date back millions of years.

He explained: "Some years ago I designed a structure to cover an important cave, but the building was designed to be removed in the future.

"Fragments of bones of the hominem species Austrolopethicus sediba was discovered in a cave in this remote area by palaeontologist extraordinaire Prof Lee Berger and his son.

"We were tasked to design a cover to the cave both to protect the fossils being unearthed and to protect the scientists doing the excavations.

"This species that lived here some 1.98 million years ago, is one of the most valuable discoveries in solving “the missing link” between Homo sapiens and our sister species still alive today

"In order not to do damage to the pristine environment and to the site, we designed an insect-like structure that hides amongst the trees surrounding the cave.

  • Abandoned slaughterhouse left to rot after thousands of 'modified' pigs were butchered

"Its eight movable legs are pinned to dolomite rock so that once the building has served its purpose, it can be removed and less than an A4 Page of damage will have been incurred to the site.

"This has now been picked up as a possibly abandoned UFO. Is it a spaceship from the future that has come to get you? Certainly – if you are one of the fossils from 1.98 million years ago."

The building can in fact be visited by booking a “safari” tour through the Cradle Boutique Hotel, where one can learn more about this species and the building in the newly built Malapa museum.

The news comes after Scott C. Waring spotted the building on Google Maps at the coordinates of 25°53'41.03"S 27°48'5.82"E is a UFO that has made 'markings similar to crop circles.'

But his conspiracy theory didn't stop at a crashed alien visitor, as he believes the pilot of the craft now lives among humans and is manipulating our technological advancements.

The self-proclaimed expert said: "I was exploring on Google Maps when I came across a metallic disk landed in South Africa. It's hidden in a grove of trees and far from any city.

"The object looks like a classic disk with a pointed hump at its centre. One photo even shows a huge circle around it…similar to that of a crop circle, but then disappears in the next photo months later.

"It looks like this is a landing location of an alien craft that attempted to hide its existence from the world.

"The pilot has created a dirt road to the area and is probably in a city nearby manipulating the direction the human race will go by introducing new technology, cures, ideas and such.

"This needs further investigation. We need someone on location. I'll ask around to see if it's possible to get more info on it."
