Google Maps fans have been warned to stay away from a masked group spotted standing in the middle of a road as they could be dangerous cartel members.
The Reddit user said u/DuhC0mmunity took to the subreddit r/GoogleMaps with a screenshot of a group of four men in costume masks as they stand at either side of the righthand lane in Moctezuma, Nacozari De Garcia, Mexico.
One man donned a Scream mask, next to a man in a Mexican wrestling mask while another was dressed as a werewolf.
A fourth was wearing a red balaclava and a tatty hat that made him look a bit like a scarecrow.
The picture was captioned: "I just found the masked guys in Mexico."
However, things seemed to take a dark turn in the comments section as fans believe the masked men were gang members who were waiting for drivers to slow down for them.
One user said: "That’s the cartel. You wanna stay far far away from those masks."
Another replied: "Oh shoot damn must of been scary for the Google Maps driver."
A third wrote: "Did Mario just join Ghostface and the gang?"

The news comes after members of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel vowed to "move forward with their purge" in a video where they executed a member of a rival gang.
The blood-thirsty cartel had originally captured six members of the Carteles Unidos, in the city of Uruapan, Mexico after to interrogate them after the gang had allegedly stolen from them.
Five of them were released – but the unidentified final man was singled out as the culprit and executed on film.
