Google Maps Street View appears to have caught a dog being walked by an invisible owner in a bizarre snap.
Keen-eyed users designed to give a glimpse of a location from the ground, having spotted something spooky about an otherwise charming scene thought to be in Germany.
Google's roaming cameras travelling past a beautiful stately home, picked up a dog walking on the ground, seemingly pulling forward on a lead without anyone holding it.
The small pooch looks to be struggling against resistance from a person at the end of its lead but no one is to be seen, Express.co.uk reports.
It is likely that the way Google Maps takes its Street View images, is how a human can disappear in plain sight.
The photography splicing has caused the problem due to the way the images are assembled.
When snapping the shot, the 360-degree cameras shoot multiple pictures to create the seamless image.
This is done by knitting the images together to make it seem realistic.

But as seen here if something is Moving objects often ruin the scene as they shift when the photos are taken.
An invisible dog walker is far from the first time Street View has thrown up an unexpected surprise.
Twitter user Ryan, from Ontario in Canada, was so chuffed to see his dad waving to Google's lenses, he shared the snap on social media on Thursday, February 4.
