Tech billionaire Elon Musk has caused absolute chaos on the social media platform he tried to buy after tweeting a cryptic quote about an “ancient grudge”.
Musk, who is the world's richest man with a fortune estimated to be around £210billion, has made a habit out of tweeting random cryptic things.
And his latest one has caused chaos and confusion.

Earlier today (October 2) he tweeted: “Do not let ancient grudge break to new mutiny.”
He gave no details about what it meant, but it racked up around 20,000 likes in just 45 minutes.
However, the quote actually has a deeper meaning than just sparking Twitter madness, as it is a line from the prologue of Romeo and Juliet.
According to the English experts at Owlcation, who analysed every single line of the famous Shakespeare play: “The Capulets and Montagues have a long-standing feud that affects everyone in town.
“Even their servants hate each other.
“Though this feud has not erupted in violence for awhile, it will soon do so.
“The very first scene of the play (the one that follows this prologue) is a brawl that starts because of some harsh words between the servants of both families.”
Musk promises that his Tesla Cybertruck will also work as a 'boat' and cross the sea
Taking that into the world of Tesla and SpaceX founder Musk, it is possible that he is referencing his long-standing war with Twitter bosses after his deal to buy the site went south earlier this year.
Some of his 107.6million followers, however, had their own unique takes on the use of the quote – mainly poking fun at the news of new Tesla cars being less-than-sturdy.
One said: “Do not let ancient grudge break like new Tesla.”
Another wrote: “You still refusing to put door handles on your cars that tend to explode…. Or??“
And a third tweeted: “Sorry, the ancient grudge of the masses against the fiat economic setup has already broken into a full scale mutiny: the Pi Network revolution.”

Although some did just take it for what it appeared to be – a quote from Romeo and Juliet.
One seemingly romantic Twitter user wrote: “Beautiful heart warming book.
“Highly suggest everyone to Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare.
“My bounty is as boundless as the sea, My love as deep.
“The more I give to thee, The more I have, for both are infinite.”
