Evil trolls threatened to ‘rape and dismember’ terrified Brit OnlyFans star, 22

A young British woman who sells racy photos and videos through OnlyFans says the site has “absolutely no safeguarding in place” to prevent sick trolls from sending her death threats.

Miki-rose, who launched her OnlyFans page in January 2020, says she has received dozens of vile and disturbing comments through the site, including ones where she was threatened with rape and dismemberment.

Miki-rose says that she has had numerous bad experiences and whilst she has never personally got in touch with the police about any of these incidents, she hopes the police would take complaints from OnlyFans content creators seriously.

The 22-year-old said: “I’ve been stalked online and had people try to find out where I live, making hundreds of new accounts just to still see what I post.

"Getting harassed online is pretty typical for every OnlyFans creator but I’ve also had it in public, for instance I once said no to hanging out with a group of guys in a nightclub that recognised me and they tried to act up.

“At that time my friend stepped in to intimidate them and get them to leave me alone. I’ve been followed around conventions, I’ve had people threaten to send my content to family members despite them already knowing what I do for work.

She told Kent Live: “I’ve also had my content stolen and resold by others and I’ve had numerous threats of being kidnapped and/or raped.

"One person even told me that they would 'find and dismember' me. Most of these things I would be unable to report as they’ve come from people overseas or from untraceable accounts unfortunately.

“Luckily for me, every public occurrence has been quelled by my friends or staff stepping in so hasn’t led to a report. The site unfortunately has absolutely no safeguarding in place for when things like this happen"

Miki-rose says that OnlyFans staff "barely reply to technical support emails".

“Even with content leaking and theft online, they do not support creators. I currently pay an outside agency to help me deal with that. I would like to think the police would take OnlyFans creators seriously as they should be impartial when dealing with crimes.

“I haven’t dealt with them yet for anything concerning my page though so I couldn’t say for certain.”

Miki-rose’s complaints come as new data from Kent Police reveals that in the first 11 months of this year, there have been 35 reports where the term “OnlyFans” has been included in the enquiry log.

Among these, there have been six reports of stalking, four reports of harassment, three reports of sending emails or other communications with intent to cause distress or anxiety, and two of blackmail.

An OnlyFans spokeswoman told the Daily Star: “OnlyFans takes the safety and security of their creators incredibly seriously and has a number of measures in place to keep both creators and users safe online.”

A statement from the company stressed that users cannot create anonymous or “untraceable” accounts, saying: "We know the legal identity of everyone on the platform as they have to provide that to set up an account".

They added that content creators are able to block any user account to stop people from subscribing to their content or being able to contact them on the platform, and that site moderators work closely with law enforcement and report any incident where appropriate.

Abusive messages can result in a permanent ban from OnlyFans, and users' IP addresses are logged, preventing them from returning under another name once they have been banned.
