Five-mile long UFO spotted on Google Earth under sea ‘could be city of Atlantis’

A five-mile long UFO has supposedly been spotted on Google Earth, submerged under the ocean off the coast of Peru.

Self-proclaimed UFO expert Scott C. Waring took to his blog UFO Sightings Daily to share the discovery with fellow enthusiasts.

Screenshots taken from the mapping service do appear to show a perfectly round circle outlined in the sea near the Nazca Desert, Peru.

That desert is actually home to the famous Nazca Lines, a group of geoglyphs drawn by people in the sand between 500 BC and AD 500 which have attracted the attention of conspiracy theorists such as Waring.

The lines were made by shallow incisions which exposed different coloured sediments. They usually depict figures or animals and can span hundreds of metres.

He insists that his discovery and the drawings must be "connected", possibly linked to the mythical lost city of Atlantis.

Waring writes: "Now there is a 7km UFO sitting at the bottom of the ocean. It next to a very mysterious location…Nazca, Peru famous for the giant drawings in the dirt that are hundreds of meters long.

"Those Nazca lines are said to be drawings to welcome the god. Back then such alien technology flying though the sky could easily be mistaken for gods. Its obvious that the two are connected.

"As I remember, this circular shape is also the right size and shape to be the lost city of Atlantis, which I have long believed to be and alien ship that was floating on the ocean, then later submerged."

Analysing the supposed UFO, Waring argued that a "dome structure" is clearly visible higher than the rest of the shape, describing it as "the classic disk design we have all heard about".

He added: "This disk at the bottom of the ocean is 100% proof of ancient aliens and the technology is just sitting there on the bottom of the ocean."
