A seething woman was so upset over Balenciaga’s latest advertising campaign that she chopped up thousands of pounds worth of luxury goods by the designer.
Chloe Hennessey took drastic action after a bizarre advert appeared to show kids holding teddy bear purses that resembled bondage accessories.
The 27-year-old was appalled at the odd photos, which Balenciaga has since apologised for and removed, and says the high-end designer is no longer her favourite clothing chain.

After finding out about the controversy, Chloe filmed herself chopping up her collection – worth a whopping £2,300 – in a TikTok video.
She raged: "I actually love Balenciaga. They used to be my favourite brand.
“After I started investigation my whole TikTok was flooded with videos about what happened. I felt sick to my stomach."
Although she has faced criticism from people arguing she should have donated the clothes instead of destroying them, she reckons her stunt is a more effective way to protest.
She explained: "People have asked why I didn't just donate my stuff, but if I did someone else would be wearing it and promoting them.

"Obviously I'm not rich, so it was annoying to have to get rid of all of it, but taking a stand is so much more important in my opinion."
In a statement, Balenciaga said it had opened a lawsuit against the production company involved in the adverts.
A spokesperson said: "We would like to address the controversies surrounding our recent ad campaigns. We strongly condemn child abuse; it was never our intent to include it in our narrative…
"Our plush bear bags and the gift collection should have not been featured with children.
"This was a wrong choice by Balenciaga, combined with our failure in assessing and validating images."
