Ghost hunters flee in terror after hearing bone-chilling voice in abandoned fort

A chilling voice heard inside an abandoned fort sent a group of ghost hunters fleeing in terror – and it was all caught on camera.

Amir Jardan, 34, was exploring Fort Gilkicker near Portsmouth after being told by a fellow paranormal expert that it was “very active” for spirits.

And when he visited with his girlfriend, Amy Notley, and aunt, Suzanne Singleton, he was terrified by what he discovered.

“As soon as we got into building it felt like we were being watched constantly, and there were noises from all angles,” said Amir.

“We heard knocks and noises every few minutes in different directions; it was like something was playing with us.”

But it was when they reached the fort’s underground tunnels that they heard what sounded like a voice.

In the footage, Amir addresses the dark tunnel behind them and says: “If there is anyone here, do you want to come and say hello?”

When he repeats himself, a sudden noise rings through the corridor like something being dropped.

Amir recalled: “When that loud noise happened, we really didn’t think it was that loud until we played it back.

“I think that noise was things being thrown around and something trying to say something too.”

Things took an even spookier turn when Suzanne got separated from the others.

Amir called out her name and, after the trio reunited, a voice appeared to whisper the name back to them.

The clip shows the moment the voice is heard and, soon after, the group are seen running out of the building.

Amir said: “The scariest bit that we heard was right at the end when that voice said ‘Susan’.

“We turned it right up so you can hear it; you can hear that voice.

“That’s when we decided to leave – it was too much.”
