Giant red cube UFO ‘aggressively’ targeted same military base twice in a day

A huge cube-shaped UFO buzzed a missile base twice in a day, a former fighter pilot has claimed.

The red object – more than 100m wide – terrified contractors who were working for an aerospace company.

It zoomed off but returned hours later – spooking guards at Vandenberg Air Force Base, California, which is currently a launch site for Elon Musk’s SpaceX.

Lt Ryan Graves, who is now an air safety campaigner, revealed the sighting while testifying under oath before the United States Congress.

The ex-navy pilot, who himself had close encounters with unknown objects on training missions, told politicians how the alien object flew towards the base from the ocean.

He said that during the 2003 sighting it “remained for 45 seconds or so before darting off over the mountains”.
Ryan added: “Later in the evening, post-sunset, there were reports of other sightings on base including some aggressive behaviours.

“These objects were approaching the security guards at rapid speeds before darting off.”

Ryan had previously told the probe – which is looking into 650 close encounters between military personnel and UFOs – that it’s just a "matter of time" until a UFO brings down a jet.

He said he was buzzed by a “dark cube” inside a “clear sphere” almost daily while on training missions off the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt in 2015.

He told the inquiry that he and FA-18 Super Hornet pilots started seeing radar contacts that “we did not think belonged there” before two jets flying in tandem had a dangerous close encounter.

The lead pilot on the mission apparently saw an object zip by his aircraft, passing within 50ft.

“When the crew came back they were shocked and they were like, ‘Hey, we almost hit one of those damn things’,” Ryan said.

“There was really no answer to what it was and so our squadron filed a safety report.”
