A Reddit user found a man dressed as a knight as he walked his two dogs while browsing on Google Maps.

The bizarre image posted by u/zachdit shows a man dressed head to toe in medieval attire, appearing as though he'd stepped away from the round table to let his pets to their business on Warren Road in Cleveland, Ohio, USA.

The long-haired man has a rope tied around his waist with a yellow cross on the right side of his chest.

His arms appear to be silver, which could be chainmail, as he holds on to two leashes for his dogs to wander around the grass.

The original poster wrote: "A man dressed as a crusader knight walking his dog in Cleveland, Ohio."

Fans of the subreddit r/GoogleMaps were in hysterics over the sight as they claimed the bloke was on his way into battle when he had to take his dogs out.

One user wrote: "When you need to walk your dog at 8 but retake the holy land at 9."

Another added: "This is literally a case of 'Gotta walk the dogs at 8; Renn Faire is at 9.'"

A third said: "Hilarious. I love his outfit."

A fourth commented: "What crusaders aren't allowed to have a dog?"

The picture on Google Maps was updated in July 2021, months before the traditional Renaissance Festival near Harveysburg in Warren County, Ohio that takes place on weekends from late August through October every year.

According to the event's website, the festival features costumed performers on stages and in the streets, jousting, craft shops selling and demonstrating period themed handcrafted goods and artwork, renaissance themed food, and regularly scheduled comedy, music, and acrobatic shows.

This year, the event is set to begin on September 3 and recur every weekend until October 30 as part of the state's 33rd annual celebration since it began in 1990.

The 35-acre permanent village has been authentically and is said to have 'historically re-created in the flavour of 16th Century England.'
