A woman claims to have seen her dog’sghost in an incredible photo after he died last month.
Angelita Casale, 34, from the US state of Arizona posted a photo on Reddit showing a shadowy dog-like shape next to her.
She captioned the image: “I think this is evidence that he’s still by my side.”
The Daily Express reports that Casale said she had previously “always been intrigued by ghosts, but never seen one with my own eyes”, until she saw the photo taken by her home’s security camera.
The 34-year-old had been with her husband out one evening and when they got home, they “didn’t notice or feel anything and went in for the night”.
A couple of days later, however, Casale’s husband looked over the security camera footage and noticed an image.
The image shows the woman outdoors, with a bright light obscuring some of the image and what could be the blurry shape of a dog by her feet.
“I came to the realisation that the shape resembled Rocky,” said Casale. “I started crying happy tears at what I was seeing. Rocky was a very loyal dog who was constantly by our side.”

She added: “His entire life, we worked from home, so he was always under our feet, and as soon as our older boys (aged 16 and 11) came home from school, he would spend the rest of the day and night with them.”
Many people took to Reddit to comment on her post with their own experiences of pets seemingly coming back as ghosts.
According to a poll by Animal Friends, 40% of pet owners believe they have, or will be, visited by the spirit of their former pet.
