The real house from the iconic movie Edward Scissorhands is on the market and had been transformed into a bizarre "shrine" to the film with a life-sized model of Johnny Depp's character.
Located at 1774 Tinsmith Circle in Lutz, Florida, the strange property has been listed for $699,000 (£531,000) having been bought for just $224,000 (£170,000) two years ago by Joey Licalzi and his wife.
Joey is more than just a fan of Tim Burton's 1990 cult classic – he was actually a dishwasher on set.
"We need more space. I wish we didn’t have to sell," Joey told the Tampa Bay Times, explaining that his daughter is having twins.
In homage to Edward Scissorhands the couple renovated the three-bed two-bathroom property into a free museum offering fans tours and putting on screenings.
Among its features are spiralling hedge toparies like the ones Edward creates in the film, the original cabinets and countertops, a vast collection of memorabilia and art work from the film and even a model of Edward in the kitchen.
Other bits in the house include authentic props, an original script, a photo signed by Burton and prototype paper dolls which Edward makes in a scene.
Estate agent Megan Hartnell from Century 21 – who have the property listed – describes it as a "one of a kind Scissorland shrine".
It was built in 1989 just months before filming started and spans 1,432-square-feet.
The listing reads in part: "Also known as The Boggs' house or the Avon Lady's house, it offers a rare opportunity to live on a nostalgic movie set.
"The owner restored this home back to the beautiful victorian crafted and whimsical movie set quality on the exterior.
"Don't miss the chance to own such a fun and interesting, one of a kind home that comes with ALL the priceless collection of memorabilia from the movie.
"Located in the beautiful and peaceful community of Carpenter's Run, it offers a clubhouse, pool, playground, tennis and basketball courts."
Joey insists that the collectables will remain in the house, and hopes that the new owner will continue letting fans in for free.
“One thing I will not do,” he told the Tampa Bay Times, “I will not sell it to anyone who would destroy the house.”
In the American fantasy romance film, the titular character (Depp) is a humanoid with scissor blades for hands. He is taken in by a family and falls in love with their daughter Kim, played by Winona Ryder.
