A couple who promised the public they’d be “Mr and Mrs boring and normal” after winning a massive £32.5 million lottery jackpot are now living in separate mansions with new lovers.
After teachers Gerry and Lisa Cannings won their jackpot in 2016, they said they wouldn’t let their enormous fortune “change them,” adding that they’d try to stay humble.
But seven years on from their win, it is understood that they’re now divorced and are living with their new lovers in mansions eight miles away from each other.

Gerry, 70, is now going out with posh mum Samantha Cardell, 55, who is a parent at the school where he taught before his win.
Meanwhile, Lisa has shacked up with football-mad trucker Carl Weaver, the Sun reports.
Both of them live with their new squeezes in mansions that are just a few short roads apart from each other in Lincolnshire.
Records from Companies House seem to suggest that Gerry and Lisa split up in 2020, during the Covid-19 pandemic, as Lisa resigned from the limited company that they used as an investment and holdings vehicle.

While many might speculate that the millionaire pair might’ve had a huge falling out, as is typical for couples that come into huge fortunes, sources said that this couldn’t be further from the truth.
One close friend said: “Everyone has tried to make out there was this dramatic split with affairs and things – but it couldn’t be further from the truth.
“The reality is Gerry and Lisa split and have both happily found new people to move on with.

“Gerry isn’t known as much of a spender so it’s fantastic he’s found someone to help him enjoy all those millions he’s got in the bank."
Another said: “Lisa is enjoying the quiet life with her down-to-earth new man – gardening and going on walks after years of slogging it out as a teacher.
“No-one knows if Carl has converted Lisa to supporting Wolves, but you can bet he’s tried.”
