Mia Khalifa admits likeliest ‘offence’ that’d see her ‘Locked Up Abroad’ on TV

Mia Khalifa reckons the reality TV show she would most likely end up on is the US version of Banged Up Abroad.

The Pornhub legend-turned fashion influencer has revealed in a tell-all interview why she'd be handcuffed and thrown behind bars, in an arrest that TV chiefs would inevitably get wind of.

When asked byNylon what reality show she’d most like to appear on, it wasn't Keeping Up With The Kardashians or Celebs Go Dating but a series documenting crooks on holiday.

The OnlyFans star hilariously replied: "Locked Up Abroad for trying to sneak a vape pen into Morocco or something.”

The 30-year-old actress didn’t elaborate any further on this, leaving many confused as to why she would be arrested for bringing vapes into a foreign country.

But assuming it wasn't just an off the cuff response to make a point of her smoking habits, the Daily Star has dug deep and looked into whether vaping in the North African country could indeed see tourists handcuffed.

Many speculated that Khalifa, who has openly talked about her love of smoking weed, that she may have been referring to cannabis vape pens.

But while Morocco does ban recreational marajuana from being grown or sold in the country, with laws allowing medical and industrial versions of the plant to be sold only recently being passed, its lax enforcement of these laws has made it one of the world’s most prolific producers.

The European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction reported in 2017 that Morocco was “by far the most frequent source” of hashish for Europeans.

Roughly 73,000 acres, or nearly 49,000 football fields, of Moroccan land is used to cultivate the green stuff, according to Dutch thinktank the Transnational Institute.

On top of this, lax enforcement has also made Morocco one of the world’s top destinations for determined stoners who want to puff away to their heart's content away from the prying eyes of cops.

Morocco also has no laws regulating the regular vaping sector, though reporting platform ECigIntelligence said that last year, three bills were introduced to the country’s parliament that would regulate packaging, sales, advertising and public usage.
