A woman has claimed she saw a UFO "zooming" through the sky for 15 minutes when out for a walk with her son.

Amita Bedi was in Phoenix Park in Wolverhampton when she saw lights "flashing in the sky," asserting that "it was too fast to be a plane."

The teacher said she began filming the site when she noticed them moving quickly, just before 5pm.

Despite walking in the area every night, this is the first time she has seen the bizarre display.

Amita told BlackCountryLive: "I was going for a walk with my son and we saw zooming lights in the sky.

"They went really fast and went on for about 15 minutes."

She watched the display with her son on Thursday, December 15, and decided to film what she could see.

The mum, who lives in Wolverhampton, added: "It was the first time I'd seen something like that.

"There were two lights moving together and at first I thought it was the moon behind the clouds.

"But it was moving so fast that it couldn't have been. It was too fast to be a plane."

In late November, a Birmingham woman told how she and her partner were also baffled by "weird lights" in the sky as they drove along the motorway at night.

Kelly Thompson, 29, and her partner Stuart Marshall, 35, saw the astonishing array of lights while heading away for a weekend in their caravan.

They were driving on the M6 between Liverpool and Manchester on November 18 at around 6.45pm when they saw the mysterious lights in the sky ahead of them.

Kelly told the Liverpool Echo: "We were just driving and saw these weird lights in the sky, I couldn't really explain it.

"At first I thought it was something projecting into the sky from the ground but I kept looking everywhere and couldn't see anything.

"When then drove directly under them and I took pictures because I couldn't explain it. I was baffled."
