A spine-tingling video shows a paranormal expert being "throttled by an evil spirit" as ghost hunters investigate paranormal activity inside the home of 1980s pop icon Toyah Willcox.
The chilling scenes were filmed for brand new discovery+ Original series Celebrity Help! My House Is Haunted.
In the creepy episode, the team was called in to investigate reports of paranormal activity in a sprawling Georgian house owned by Toyah, whose biggest hits include "It's a Mystery" and "I Want to Be Free".
She says: "I suppose I just want proof – I want to know it’s just not me."
The singer claims it is not just her who has experienced weird happenings and adds: "The actress Rula Lenska visited us, and she was down in the cellar and she could hear children screaming and she passed out.
"When she came around, she said she was surrounded by children."
Toyah tells the ghost hunters she is keen to rid the house of the evil that lingers there.
"The majority of the spirits I really, really like, and if they feel they’re in the right place at the right time, then they’re welcome," she says. "If they’re evil, they can f*** off!"
One such "evil spirit" was met by Barri, who was filming clutching his throat while trying to question a presence.
He rushes downstairs and says: "F***ing hell, something just grabbed my windpipe."
Barri later reveals what happened to him in more detail.
"I was sat there, I was talking, and all of a sudden my windpipe was constricted," he says to a shocked Toyah.
"I couldn’t breathe, I was actually really scared," he continues, playing the audio for Toyah the audio and reliving the violent incident.
"That makes me feel really emotional listening to it, that is the most scared I have been in 20 years," he says. "I thought I was going to collapse and die."
