An urban explorer entered an abandoned aquarium in Spain and found a dead squid on the floor and a rotting shark in a tank.
An eerie clip of the encounter was filmed by Juliette, 24, from the French city of Lyon, during a visit to Spain.
She posted the clip on her TikTok page, where it has gone viral, with nearly 5 million views.
In the footage, Juliette is filmed climbing through a window into the abandoned aquarium before coming across a rotting shark and a dead squid on the floor.
She accompanied the video with the message: "The horror. See my exploration and you will be shocked!"
Juliette, who joked that she is "full time on YouTube," said: "The aquarium is in Spain. The dead animals we came across included fish, squid and a shark."
When asked if she was surprised that her video went viral, she said "yes", adding: "But the shark is very impressive, so it definitely appeals to many."
Juliette said that "urbex has been my passion for four years".
'Urbex' is an abbreviation of 'urban exploration', a hobby that involves going off the beaten track to explore abandoned buildings or other facilities that are unseen by the general public.
Juliette boasts 725,000 followers on her TikTok page 'Jurjurbex', where she posts images of her urban adventures and the abandoned sites she has visited.
Boris Johnson brands Putin 'bloodstained aggressor determined to attack Ukraine'
Yesterday (February 23), another urban explorer sent chills down the spines of their Facebook followers after sharing snaps of an infamous haunted prison in Illinois.
The Old Joliet prison opened in 1858 with the first 33 inmates arriving from Alton in May that year and it was in operation for over two centuries confining criminals and Civil War prisoners within its walls.
Urban explorers have claimed to see the faces of the prisoners and feel negative energy as they walk around the halls.
But that hasn't been enough to scare away one brave photographer known as Dark Trix Photography LLC who claimed to be privileged for the opportunity to take snaps of the eerie, derelict prison.
One commenter said of the creepy photos: "I don't like this place at all…how did you survive the visit. this place is so cold…freezing..and I feel cold hands around my neck."
