Mystery over ‘UFOs’ spotted as security expert claims they are not spy planes

A former US International Security Analyst has claimed the UFOs spotted swarming a Navy ship are not Chinese spy planes.

Marik von Rennenkampff, a veteran that occasionally writes opinion pieces on The Hill, said that the latest government report on UFOs is causing quite a debate with skeptics and believers alike.

While many have theorised that the swarm of objects that surrounded the Navy vessel while it was out on international waters are spy drones from China, Rennenkampff has weighed in on why he believes they probably aren't.

He wrote: "As observers grapple with these possibilities, clues are beginning to emerge that a leading theory for the military’s UFO encounters – advanced Chinese aircraft – is increasingly unlikely.

"For one, the South China Morning Post recently revealed that China has established its own task force to analyze unidentified objects appearing in its airspace. Beijing, like Washington, appears to take these phenomena seriously.

"Moreover, Chinese analysts are reportedly so 'overwhelmed' by UFO reports that China’s military is now relying on artificial intelligence to assess such incidents more efficiently.

"Make no mistake: These revelations are not accidental. Opaque, authoritarian states such as China do not simply volunteer information about glaring national security gaps on a whim.

"This raises two possibilities. Either China is engaging in an elaborate disinformation campaign, or it is genuinely perplexed by phenomena it cannot explain."

In the leaked footage, US Navy ships were surrounded by up to 100 UFOs over a one-month period.

Investigative journalist, Jeremy Corbell shared new radar footage on Thursday (May 27) on his of nine unidentified objects appearing on radar from the USS Omaha on July 15, 2019.

The footage led to an extensive report to be made by the US government about UFO sightings where the results were said to be inconclusive as to whether they are from aliens.

Other theories later emerged including, claims from the Vice President of the new International Coalition for Extraterrestrial Research (ICER), Gary Heseltine who told The Sun that UFOs could be coming from underwater rather than space.

Where ever they are coming from the analyst known as @MvonRen on Twitter claims "China and the United States’s uncharacteristic transparency on UFOs may ultimately help overcome mutual suspicion that the other is behind these extraordinary phenomena."
