Pastor claims parts of the world are becoming ‘hell holes’ as ‘God is removed’

A Christian pastor has claimed the Russia-Ukraine war is proof that parts of the world are descending into "hell holes" because they are "removing God from everywhere."

Pastor Tom Hughes, who is known for spreading the word of his outlandish end-of-times theories on his YouTube channel, names Italy's new Prime Minister and Russia's war on Ukraine as evidence that belief is being abandoned and evil is winning.

In the YouTube video, which has gained more than 6,700 likes, Hughes spoke of violence around the world, including the war between Russia and Ukraine as he claims the world has gone 'profoundly wrong.'

He said: "I'm going to tell you right now, the problem is these people don't want God in anything. They don't want any righteousness. They're against families.

"This is why we have this new Prime Minister in Italy because most people are saying this is bad news. Then we have the threats of Russia, serious threats of economic catastrophe. There is something that is profoundly wrong.

"Here's something else to think about, the Book of Ecclesiastes tells us this: 'Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.'

"I mean, think of that. That's exactly what we're seeing."

The pastor then explained why he believes 'evil' is on the rise as he claims it is because "God has been removed" from education, justice and even the church.

"Because God has been removed. God's been removed from the schools. God's been removed from courts," he added.

"God's been removed from families. God's been removed from churches. God's been removed from pulpits. Yet pastors that in America say, 'Well, you can't really believe the Bible. You can't take it as true.'

"God has been removed everywhere. So we have this place, we have descended into this hell hole in many parts of the Western world."

It would appear many of his followers agree with him as they took to the comments to praise him for spreading the word.

Another wrote: "Even secularists can feel there's something disturbing that's just brewing away, under the surface, in this silence before the storm."

A third commented: "Thank you, Pastor Tom, always refreshing to know the Lord has a servant willing to get out and inform people of the Biblical Truth!!"
