Police hunting for wanted man with name handily tattooed on his forehead

Police hunting a teen who ditched a court date and went on the run have been helped by the fact that he has his own name tattooed on his forehead.

Three months aho Kieran Bond, 19, skipped court where he was due to face charges of making threats with an offensive weapon.

And British Transport Police (BTP) today (Thursday, December 29), eleased a mug shot of the teenage fugitive, revealing that he has 'Bondy' inked above his right eyebrow.

Hull Live reported that the force were then mercilessly mocked on social media for being unable to find a man who dipped court in October, despite his helpful tat.

One person wrote: "Surely they won't have to look too hard to find him! He has got his name tattooed on his face!"

Another added: "Three months and counting to track down a bloke with his name tattooed on his head. Come off it."

A third put: "Deserves arresting just for the tat. Who has there [sic] own name??"

Police had charged Bond, of Stafford, with making threats with an offensive weapon following an incident on a train near Cannock railway station on March 29.

But so far officers have been unable to locate him and admit his whereabouts is 'currently unknown'.

A BTP spokesperson said: "Do you know where Kieran Bond from Stafford is? He is wanted after failing to appear at Cannock Magistrates' Court on Wednesday 26 October after being charged with two threats with an offensive weapon, following an incident on a train near Cannock Railway Station on Tuesday 29 March.

"Officers have made extensive attempts to try and locate Bond, 19, but have so far been unable to trace him. His whereabouts is currently unknown, however he has links to West Midlands, Staffordshire, north west England."
