Ric Flair and Mike Tyson smoke weed to promote new erectile dysfunction product

Boxing icon Mike Tyson is continuing to grow his cannabis empire – and 'the world’s greatest wrestler' is joining him.

Ric Flair, aka Nature Boy, will become the face of the brand's products designed to help fight erectile dysfunction.

The performance issue is believed to affect more than half men aged between 40 and 70, according to the Massachusetts Male Aging Study.

Yet the taboo that still exists on the topic is something the unlikely duo are keen on tackling together.

Former boxing heavyweight champion Tyson and Flair, who has been regarded by peers as the 'world's greatest wrestler', have previously been filmed smoking the drug together.

Last November, Tyson’s premium cannabis brand and Ric Flair Drip, Flair's cannabis line, announced they were joining forces under a new parent company called Carma Holdings LLC.

Flair admitted his knowledge of the possible medical benefits of cannabis is small, but explained his excitement for his new role, as reported on Busted Open Radio.

He said: “My line drops here in Florida where you still have to have a medical card to get it…

“As far as going and lecturing and talking about it, no. I’m not that knowledgeable. There’s a lot to learn about cannabis.

“They’re going to have a cannabis for erectile dysfunction, and guess who will be the face of that? Wooooo!”

Studies aren’t clear on what effect cannabis or cannabidiol (CBD) has on ED.

However, CBD is said to boost mood and sleep, and to help stimulate blood flow if used as a lubricating oil, according to The Mirror.

Over several decades, Flair made his name as one of the most flamboyant and charismatic wrestlers of all time.

While his days of making his fellow superstars tap out to the famous figure-four leg lock submission are in the rearview mirror, his legacy in the business has been continued by his daughter and current SmackDown Women’s champion, Charlotte Flair.
