A who couple won an outrageous £148million in the lottery have had a dramatic ride of it since to say the least.

Suddenly Adrian and Gilliard Bayford could afford far more than they could have ever dreamt of, but it was not long before their lives started to fall apart from the seams.

While the fortune was fun, they soon lived to regret the fame having shared the win with the media. Their marriage was the ultimate price paid for becoming millionaires overnight.

It took just 15 months for the pressure of the cameras to tear the relationship apart.

After the divorce, Gillian split her winnings with Adrian before leaving their Suffolk home and heading back to Scotland, where she enjoys a glamorous lifestyle as a property company owner.

    But the controversy hasn't subsided.

Her close friend said she had to leave the business after they had a fight over dogs. Sources claim the millionaire was furious when she discovered her ex-pal had been leaving her pets with a tenant in one of the tycoon’s rented pads.

Gillian also found herself in trouble with the law, when we was accused of assaulting her 'gold digger' ex. However, an investigation found insufficient evidence.

She's since re-married to convicted fraudster, Brian Deans. The pair exchanged vows at a luxurious ceremony in St Andrews, Fife.

However, her former husband has struggled in love since the end of his marriage. In 2021, Adrian sold the mansion, in which he'd been dumped four times.

In further tragedy, his son nearly died after a harrowing quad bike accident.

In September 2021, Cameron, who was 13 at the time, was hit by a car driven by his sister Amy, 15, outside his dad's property.

The incident rendered the parents devastated. Luckily, the teenager made a full recovery.

When a Gloucestershire couple broke the Bayford's UK Euromillions record last year, Gillian told The Sun that she hopes the staggering £184million brings them happiness.

She also wished them good luck as well as a warning. "Just remember that some people do have ulterior motives," Gillian said.
