Spider-Man warned ‘not to poo on rocks’ near canal in bizarre Google Maps sign

A Reddit user has spotted a hilarious sign warning Spider-Man not to poo on rocks by a canal on Google Maps.

The bizarre sign displaying a squatting figure dressed in the comic-style blue and red Spider-Man suit was posted to the subreddit r/googlemapsshenanigans.

Underneath the image is the phrase "dilrang buang air besar" which is Malay for 'Do not defecate.'

According to the link provided in the comments, the sign was spotted in the city of Surabaya, Indonesia alongside the Jl. Nyamplungan road.

The forum user u/Doughlas41 captioned the Street View screenshot: "If you are Spiderman, please don't squat on one of the stones with your pants down."

While we are sure that a friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man wouldn't poop in public, there have been some occasions where a sign like this would have been helpful for other sites on Google Maps.

Last year, a double-denim clothed man with his trousers by his ankles while he squatted down for a poo.

While the shots from the Street View car do not confirm this 100% it is quite hard to find any other logical explanation for his squatting.

The post was shared on a thread called Google Maps which is described as a "subreddit for anything and everything" to do with Google Maps, Google Earth, and Google Street View.

The post reads: "I found someone pooping in the grass…"

In another shot, a woman in Eastern Slovakia was squatting down in the middle of the street as her kid had their pants around their ankles.

In the post captioned "This is what I found on Google Maps, Eastern Slovakia", the parent looked directly at the camera as she held the back of the child's top-up, flashing a bare rear end at the van.

Some Google Maps fans have compared the pair to 'dogs' but other Redditors have come to the defence of the parent, saying that when nature calls, you've got to go.
