An alleged "time traveller" has claimed that scientists will soon "prove there is an afterlife" in an outlandish social media video.
A self-declared time warper, who posts online under the username @thatonetimetrav, has gained more than 1.4million followers from sharing their warnings of the future online.
The videos have so far made claims about natural disasters, wars and when humans will make first contact with extraterrestrial life.

But one particular video has sparked debate online after they claimed scientists will prove "there is an afterlife" in 2057.
In the video, which has gained more than 62,000 likes, they wrote: "In 2057, afterlife is proven by a well-known scientist.
"It is not known that you can be human again, however, it is proven that you become another animal species."
TikTok users rushed to the comments to debate over whether it could really happen.
One user wrote: "So basically reincarnation?"
Another argued: "Nope, Jesus is the answer. Maybe you should travel back to see him."
"I don’t get it. Why would you tell us all of this? What do you gain from it?" a third added.
A fourth commented: "I’m not one to believe things so easily, but I’m actually starting to believe this."

The news comes after a mysterious social media user, who claims to be a "time traveller from the year 2858", has issued an eerie warning about the end of the world.
The user, who posts under the username @darknesstimetravel, has gained more than 12,000 followers by posting outlandish claims about future events — with everything from wormholes to the creation of mythical creatures.
But in their most recent video, the user claimed a "hostile alien species" is travelling to Earth to destroy it and that humans need to be prepared to "save our species".
