A UFO mystery has been solved after two sets of lights were spotted in the night sky travelling in formation.
Video of the bizarre sighting above Montreal, Canada, was shared on Twitter earlier this month by the @LatestUFOs account.
It appears to show some sort of craft, shaped a bit like a V with lights on the bottom, moving slowly past skyscrapers.

Then 12 minutes later another similar object flies past with lights in a straight line.
The person behind the camera is heard saying: "What the f**k. That is not a goddamn airplane. Why the f**k is it so f*****g close? What the actual f**k is that? What the f**k?
"I'm shaking right now. I'm not even gonna lie. I'm f*****g shaking. That s**t did not look like a f*****g airplane.
"That was really f*****g close to the ground and I am not near to an airport."
The person went on to say that the second craft "sounded more like multiple planes" but insisted something was definitely off about the first.
They said: "The other one had a very deep humming and there's no base nearby. I don't know what's going on."
According to Latest UFO Sightings, the witness went to the window after feeling a low vibration in their stomach and hearing a rumbling sound.
The website added that Montreal "has a long history of UFO sightings, with many reports dating back to the 1960s".
However, this incident cannot be catalogued in that long history after fact checking account @ufoofinterest revealed the true nature of the objects.
"Those were military exercise by Royal Canadian Air Force with four Bell CH-146 Griffon," the fact checkers wrote on Twitter.
