Social media users are debating the possibility that UFOs could be aircraft piloted by the universe's richest aliens.
Facebook user, Molly Elizabeth went viral after asking users "what if UFOs are just billionaires from other planets" in a post that now has over 2.4k likes and 37k shares.
Her post came after Earth's billionaires Richard Branson and Jeff Bezos made the first launch in the space race last week – and some of the responses were hilarious.
One commenter said: "I wonder if these billionaire's think about their staff getting paid a decent wage & building a hospital or 2 rather than travelling into outer space."
Another added: "Would you really be surprised?"
A third said they believed they could be "teasers" as they explained: "Teasers are usually rich kids with nothing to do. They cruise around looking for planets that haven’t made interstellar contact yet and buzz them.” “Buzz them?”
"Arthur began to feel that Ford was enjoying making life difficult for him. “Yeah,” said Ford, “they buzz them.

"They find some isolated spot with very few people around, then land right by some poor unsuspecting soul whom no one’s ever going to believe and then strut up and down in front of him wearing silly antennas on their head and making beep beep noises."
However, some users argued that if they were the galaxy's richest – things would be a little different.

One suggested they must be poor, writing: "Those are poor aliens, rich aliens travel to another dimension."
Referencing the viral phallic appearance of Jeff Bezos's Blue Origin rocket, another user said: "It would not look like a disk but like a d**k."
Last week, bemused Twitter users have been left in hysterics after spotting similarities between Austin Powers' penis-shaped rocket and Jeff Bezos’ New Shepard.
The Amazon-billionaire jetted off in the ground-breaking first crewed flight of his ship, marking a historic launch but all eagle-eyed social media users could talk about was the uncanny resemblance the spacecraft had to the male member and Dr. Evil's contraption.
