Ultra-isolated tribe abandon village to fly on a plane for the first time ever

Villagers from a secret African tribe fled their homes to fly a plane for the first time.

Kanaya from a tribe in Zanzibar travelled to mainland Tanzania, east Africa to board a flight.

The experience was captured on film and uploaded by the YouTube channel Maasaiboys.

During the clip, Kanaya can be heard marvelling at the view of the beach, the clouds, and how small the houses appear.

When his friend asks how he is enjoying the flight, he repeatedly says “Wow” before adding “We are close to Jesus”.

After touching back down after the one-hour flight, Kanaya can be seen making a symbolic cross over his body as the aircraft shakes slightly.

In a later part of the video, he admits that he loved the experiences, once again marvelling at the view of the white clouds from above.

Captioning the five-minute YouTube video, the creator wrote: “In this episode, a good friend of Kanaya took him on his first flight ever, from Zanzibar to mainland Tanzania.

“He absolutely loved the experience and hopes he can experience it again one day. We are now back in our village and amazing content is coming up ahead.

“In the next videos, you will learn a lot more about our culture and way of life in the bush”.

They continued to explain that their goal through their projects is to build a hotel in Tanzania.

They said: “As beautiful as our village is, we have no electricity and very bad wifi, therefore we have to travel hours every day on dangerous roads to find a decent connection.

“After some requests, we managed to set up an Gofundme page.

“With your guys help we can organize a decent infrastructure in our village and Kickstart our projects. Our dream is to build a little hotel one day here, so you guys will be able to experience first-hand the beauty of Tanzania, and see the positive change we can achieve with your help”.

Another added: “I love how you all are adventuring beyond the world you came from. You are giving us all a gift, to let us share these experiences with you.”

“‘We are up! we are close to Jesus’ best part” gushed a third.
