A Greggs jumper-clad runaway crook has left Twitter users in hysterics after police shared a wanted poster.
Bury North Police has turned to the public for help tracing the whereabouts of sex offender, Shaun Aver from Bury, Greater Manchester, who is wanted on recall to prison.
What the force's tweet made no comment on, however, was what Aver was wearing at the time of his initial mugshot, Manchester Evening News reports.

The criminal's Greggs jumper has unsurprisingly led to dozens of people cracking the same joke that he is likely to be found in one of the many bakeries in the north west.
"I think he might be in one of these places," joked one Twitter user who shared a screengrab of Greggs locations on a map.
Captioning an alternative map of Greggs stores, someone else said: "Have you tried any of these places? Got a feeling you might find him there."
The 36-year-old is known to have links to Manchester city centre and North Manchester, police said.
He also has links to Preston and Cumbria. Police shared a mugshot photo of him on the GMP Bury Facebook page as part of an appeal.

Aver had previously been classed by police as a 'risk to women and children' when he went on the run earlier in the year.
He is described as being 5ft 6in tall, of medium build and having short, brown hair.
Going down the fashion route, one person commented on the police's post: "Not sure if I would be more embarrassed that I’ve been uploaded on Twitter as a wanted man by the police or, that there is recorded evidence of me wearing a Greggs jumper."

Another quipped: "Life’s all about Sex, Drugs and Sausage Rolls."
One Twitter user even offered an idea of a trap to snare the convict, they suggested: "Sausage roll. Fishing rod. Job done."
Anyone who has any information about where he is is being urged to get in touch. Police can be contacted on 101 quoting log 3656 of 19/12/22 or by calling Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
