WWE’s Liv Morgan ‘stabbed’ by horror icon Chucky after wishing to be ‘murdered’

Former WWE Smackdown Women's Champion Liv Morgan has been 'killed' by one of Halloween's most iconic bad guys.

But, fear not wrestling fans, Morgan was taking part in filming for the new series of hit US TV show Chucky.

Liv, who is a huge fan of the tiny murderous iconic doll, said a few months ago that she dreamed of being murdered by the cult horror legend.

And her dreams have now come true after taking part in the new series.

A video preview for the new series follows Morgan during the day of filming, which involved wearing a stomach prosthetic to contain the blood for when the ginger doll stabs her.

In the video, Liv said: “I was probably just a big of a fan of Chucky as I was of WWE growing up, so to be here on the set is so cool.

“We're here filming, I'm actually doing it.

“Dreams do come true and I've manifested this so hard.

“I guess I never really thought I'd be dying at the hands of Chucky, although I had hoped it.

“It was something that was on my bucket list.”

The video then cuts to Chucky “stabbing” Liv in truly brutal fashion 10 times, before the doll says “thank you, thank you very much”.

The UK air date of the episode is not yet known, although it has already started in the US on the SyFy channel.

Series one was shown in the UK on Sky Max.

It has been a historic week for Liv in other ways, too, after celebrating eight years of being with WWE.

Earlier this year, Liv spokes exclusively to the Daily Star about being with WWE, and becoming WWE Smackdown Women's Champion for the first time.

She said: “The feeling has not worn off – not even a little bit, not a smidge.

“I'm feeling it at all times, every second of the day, and I just want to keep going.

“It's a feeling beyond words.

“It also feels weird to a degree – I've been laser focussed my entire life on getting to WWE and being successful.

“To hold a WWE title is the culmination of that, and I'm kind of like 'oh . . .what do I do now?'

“It's a feeling of total fulfilment and disbelief of what are my next goals and what do I do now that I've accomplished a journey of a lifetime.”

Since debuting in WWE's NXT brand in 2014 under the name of Marley, Liv, whos real name is Gionna Daddio, has always been a fan favourite.

Her time in NXT was spent mainly as an underdog who the fans constantly rooted for, and it remain the same when she joined the main WWE roster as part of The Riott Squad in 2017.

But it was when the group – which featured current All Elite Wrestling star Ruby Soho (then Ruby Riott) and Sarah Logan – split in 2019 that she grew into her own.

And the journey since then has been about her struggle to overcome the odds time and time again, with the fans remaining firmly in her corner the entire time.
