Passenger left stunned after mum demands she gives her games console to her 8-year-old son during flight | The Sun

A WOMAN was left stunned after a mum demanded she let her 8-year-old son play with her games console during a flight.

The 25-year-old woman was travelling across the US with her Nintendo Switch, which she packed for the two hour flight.

They wrote: "I was strapped in my seat and decided to take out my Nintendo Switch from my carr yon beneath my feet."

The passenger said that a woman sitting across from her then unbuckled her seat and asked her to share her games console with her 8-year-old son.

However, the passenger declined as she said she "didn't feel comfortable" giving it to someone she didn't know.

Despite her declining, the mum continued to badger the passenger, and when she kept saying no, was "livid," only for her child to start "whining and kicking the seat in front".

The passenger finished by saying: "By the end of the flight, the woman collected her luggage from the overhead bins and said: 'hope you’re happy going against gods word, not sharing with a child.'"

While the young woman said other people defended her against the mum, while others laughed, she said the mum was one of the most "entitled people" she had ever met.

People online were left just as stunned.

One person wrote: "As a mom that is ridiculous. Good parents plan for flights with plenty to distract their child."

A second agreed: "You were in the right to say no. You paid for it. If she didn’t have anything for her child to do. Then that was on herself."

Others offered their own advice.

One said: "In future, don't explain yourself or entertain further harassment; "NO" is a complete sentence."

It isn't the first time something like this has happened.

A mum was slammed for being "entitled" after demanding a stranger stopped watching a film and played games with her seven-year-old son during a flight.
