  • Glass containers inside the parcel could have been shattered by the impact
  • Angry buyer says they are ‘really disappointed’ by ‘disrespectful’ treatment
  • The footage was recorded at the customer’s home in Ramsey, Minnesota

This is the shocking moment an Amazon delivery driver was captured hurling two packages onto a customer’s porch.

Footage captured by a doorbell camera in Ramsey, Minnesota, on October 6 shows a delivery driver saving himself a few seconds by throwing his cargo from the side of the road to its final destination.

The recipient of the parcels, who uploaded the video, said: ‘The packages flew all the way past the driveway and landed on the hard cement surface in front of the porch area.

‘The packages contained multiple glass-packed vitamins.

‘Thankfully nothing broke, although a toy puzzle we bought for our baby was damaged.’

According to the recipient, Amazon did ‘nothing’ when contacted about the incident, leaving them ‘really disappointed’.

At the end of the video, the driver leisurely gets back in his white van and reverses out of the shot – not seeming to be in any great hurry.

MailOnline has contacted Amazon for comment.

One of the two packages can be seen in mid-air, having been thrown from the roadside onto the porch outside a home in Ramsey, Minnesota on October 6

The incident contrasts with one caught on camera in Tulsa, Oklahoma, last week.

An Amazon driver went beyond the call of duty, hiding a package in the bushes outside the house after spotting a note on the doormat that read ‘please hide packages from husband’.

The video has since gone viral, receiving more than 1.7 million likes and thousands of positive comments.

Homeowner Cherry replied: ‘You gave us a good laugh and you’re awesome! If you’re going to be on my route again let me know!’
