Attacker robs Jewish man’s phone and rains punches down on him in horrifying North London attack

This is the moment an attacker robs a Jewish man’s phone and rains punches down on him in a sickening attack at a flat in North London.
Footage appears to show the pair arguing in a hallway before the victim’s phone is yanked out of his hand at the property on St Ann’s Road in Haringey.
The man, aged in his 30s, has his kippah knocked off his head as he engages in a scuffle while attempting to retrieve the device.
He is then thrown against some railings as the attack spills outside before being repeatedly punched in the stomach and face.
There is nothing to suggest the attack, which took place at around 1.45pm yesterday, is racially or religiously motivated, said police.

Towards the end of the video, the attacker is seen pushing the man into a pram before fleeing the property.
The victim appears dazed as he rushes back outside and looks around the area.
The clip was posted to Twitter by the Stamford Hill branch of neighbourhood watch group Shomrim.
In an appeal, the group said: ‘Victim’s phone stolen during a violent robbery in a block of flats.
‘If you recognise this male please contact @Shomrim & @MetCC.’
Police, who are investigating the incident, were called to reports of a theft but the attacker had left before officers arrived.

In a statement, the Met said: ‘Police are investigating an allegation of theft that is reported to have occurred at approximately 13:45hrs on Friday, 11 February at a residential property in St Ann’s Road, N15.
‘It was reported that a man aged in his 30s was assaulted by a man who stole his phone. Officers attended but the suspect had left the area before they arrived.
‘Enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing, however at this stage there is nothing to suggest the assault was a racially or religiously motivated.’
