Brits will suffer blizzard-like winds and more snow after they wake up on Boxing Day.
It comes as parts of the country enjoyed a picture-perfect White Christmas with snow falling on December 25.
The weather forecast saw the Met Office issue a yellow weather warning for more snow to fall for areas in Scotland and the northern parts of England today.
The most severe snowfall is set to fall in hilly parts of Scotland, as the rain moves northwards, it is likely to turn to snow.
As much as 4cm may fall in areas above 200 metres and even 10cm for 300m above sea level.
The forecast adds: "Coupled with strong winds, gusting to 35 to 45 mph in places, this is likely to lead to some difficult travel conditions across higher Pennine and Cumbrian routes, as well as the Southern Uplands, during the early hours of Sunday.
“Temporary blizzard conditions may be encountered above around 300 or 400 metres elevation. These conditions will probably move into some hillier central parts of Scotland during Sunday morning, while snow turns back to rain further south.”
The weather service said areas of Scotland, including Clackmannanshire, Falkirk, Perth and Kinross, and Stirling would be affected.
The Met Office revealed some parts of the UK had a White Christmas, with Brits in Shetland and eastern Scotland seeing a blanket of snow outside their window.
Strathallan and Aboyne in Aberdeenshire also saw snow on Christmas Eve.

The Met Office yellow weather warning, in place from 12.15am on Sunday until Midday will affect millions of Brits.
There may be temporary power cuts and public and local roads affected.
Western areas to Newcastle and Sunderland, Carlisle, northern and eastern Manchester, and the very northern parts of England are at risk of more snow.
Southern Scotland, near Perth and northern Glasgow, could see more of the white stuff this morning as well.
Although Durham and Derbyshire are also at risk.
The Met Office adds: "Greater potential for snow accumulating over the southern Pennines in the overnight period, so warning area extended further south into Derbyshire, as well as a little further east over Durham and Northumberland."
