Accused Colorado shooter Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa will appear in court for the first time Thursday — three days after he went on a murderous rampage at a Boulder supermarket.
Alissa, 21, is charged with 10 counts of first-degree murder for each of the victims he allegedly gunned down on Monday at the King Soopers store.
He will appear before Judge Thomas Mulvahill for the virtual hearing at 10:15 a.m. Eastern Time.
During the procedural hearing, Alissa will be advised of his rights and the charges against him.
The next court date will also be scheduled.
It’s unclear whether Alissa, who officials said was shot “through and through” his right thigh, will appear in person or by video.
Since the slaughter, the suspect has been portrayed as a “loner” who lived in his parent’s basement in the Colorado suburb of Arvada — and once “blacked out” with rage while allegedly pummeling a high school classmate.
The victims were identified earlier this week as Denny Stong, 20; Neven Stanisic, 23; Rikki Olds, 25; Tralona Bartkowiak, 49; Suzanne Fountain, 59; Teri Leiker, 51; Eric Talley, 51; Kevin Mahoney, 61; Lynn Murray, 62, and Jody Waters, 65.
Alissa faces life without parole if convicted.
