A young boy has been found dead in an abandoned house after playing a game of Russian roulette.
The body of Markell Noah, 12, was found at a property in Jackson, Mississippi, US, on Friday night (November 25) after he was initially reported missing, Jackson Police Department deputy chief Deric Hearn told WLBT.
Police arrested three people – two minors and one 21-year-old – on the night.

The two boys are being charged with murder, whereas the adult is being charged with accessory after the fact of murder.
The victim's grief-stricken family have disputed reports that he was involved in a game of Russian roulette prior to his tragic death.
One of Markell's family members said the victim received a text message at 2am on the morning he went missing. After that, they said he left his home to meet two other boys.
The Jackson Police Department say the investigation into Markell's death is ongoing.
Anyone with information regarding the events around his death has been urged to contact homicide detectives at (601) 960-1278 or Crimestoppers at (601) 355-8477.

Russian roulette sees players load a revolver with a single bullet, spin the chamber and take turns holding it to their heads and squeezing the trigger, hoping to avoid the shot containing the bullet.
The twisted game is thought to originate from the short story The Fatalist, written in 1840 by Russian poet Mikhail Lermontov.
