Brave woman praised for way she called out 'creepy' stranger who tried to sit next to her on an empty bus | The Sun

A WOMAN has been heaped with praise after she called out a stranger who tried to sit next to her on a virtually empty bus.

The moment was caught on camera by another passenger and was shared on the social media site TikTok on April 8.


The clip has already been seen nearly 7million times and in it a blonde woman tells the man: "You literally chose to sit next to me on an empty bus, which is weird."

The man, who is wearing a puffer jacket and standing in the aisle of the upper deck asks: "What's wrong with that?"

She said that she doesn’t know him and it was strange that he walked to her and sat down next to her.

The woman added: "I don't come on the bus to start dating someone.

The man then appears to become aggravated and interrupts by yelling: "Shut up! You're coming with such rudeness.

"You think you are better than anybody else?"

While the two are continue arguing, a man siting towards the front of the bus intervened.

He said: "What's the problem? Why are you being rude to a woman? Why are you being disrespectful?"

The man asked the passenger to keep away, saying: "You've got nothing to do with this, you can shut up as well.”

The trio continue to argue and talk over one another but when the bus pulled up at a stop, the driver asked all the passengers to “step outside”.

"We'll sort this out!" the man told the passenger as the group left the bus.

A person called James, who shared the clip, wrote: "Who goes and sits next to a woman who's on her own seated on an empty bus? The audacity!"

TikTok users shared their thoughts in the comments section, with one saying: "He clearly can't handle rejection very well."

A second person added: "Stuff like this makes me hope that my female friends don't experience this, like ever, but I know it happens too often."

While a third wrote: "Good on her for calling him out and not being scared too.”
