EVERYONE has a camera in their pocket nowadays – and these incredible images show just what you can do with a modern smartphone.
Atmospheric landscapes, arty close-ups and awe-inspiring architecture are among the entries in the 12th annual iPhone Photography Awards.
Last year's awards saw thousands of stunning snaps submitted by iPhone photographers in 140 countries.
The only rules are that the pictures are taken on an iPhone or iPad and any editing must be within an app, not in a desktop program like Photoshop.
Entries so far show the enormous variety and detail captured on Apple gadgets around the world, from ice caps and deserts to oceans and cities.
The 2019 contest is open for entries until the end of March, so there's plenty of time to send in your best effort.
