A SIX-year-old British girl is reportedly fighting for her life in hospital after a horror road crash that killed her mum in Ibiza.
The tragic incident happened on Wednesday afternoon near the village of Santa Gertrudis on the Spanish Island.
Firefighters, police and paramedics were called to scene at about 6.30pm.
The woman who lost her life was pronounced dead at the scene after being cut out of the wreckage of her vehicle by emergency services.
She is believed to be 42-years-old but her nationality has not yet been revealed.

Local media, however, said her daughter was rushed to a regional hospital in a critical condition and was later airlifted to Son Espases Hospital in the Majorcan capital, Palma.
She is believed to have suffered multiple injuries.
A 40-year-old Norwegian woman was also hurt in the crash and remains in hospital in Ibiza, it was reported.
According to local authorities, the mother who died was driving a Ford Focus, which smashed head-on into another vehicle.

It was not immediately clear today if mother and daughter were holidaying in Ibiza or lived on the island, or who was at the wheel of the rented Toyota.
All three vehicles involved in the crash are said to have been left write-offs.
