The 68-year-old is wanted on eight separate charges, from conspiracy to defraud the Commonwealth and money laundering over 1 million Australian Dollars, to dishonestly obtaining a gain from the Commonwealth.

The international fraudster has been on the run since 2005 since he was discovered by an Australian Police investigation called Project Wickenby.

Those involved, of which 76 people have been charged, stole nearly 1 billion Australian Dollars.
