Snake Catchers Brisbane & Gold Coast posted the ‘game of spot the snake’ on their Facebook page after being called out to a home in Sherwood, Queensland.
Some users were quick to spot the deadly snake while others could only see the possum.
Snake catcher Jaedon Lunt said the snake was probably eyeing up the possum for its next meal.
Last month another group of snake catchers Sunshine Coast Snake Catchers shared a puzzling snap of a seemingly empty bit of woodland.
Users struggled to spot the yellow-faced whip snake that was perfectly hidden in the grass.
Guesses of the species included black snakes, scrub pythons, black-headed pythons and taipan snakes.
