A car crashed at a level crossing and careered onto railway tracks, damaging a train and causing a line to London to shut for two hours.
A light blue Toyota ended up on the tracks at a level crossing near Teynham, Kent, at around 10.20pm on Friday.
Emergency services rushed to the scene and a response team from Southeastern Railways arrived at 10.53pm.
Southeastern Railways said the car had damaged a train heading towards Faversham as well as the railway tracks.
Images from the scene showed the car had been scraped on its left side and had its front windscreen wipers up.

Southeastern Railways said the car had damaged a train heading towards Faversham as well as the railway tracks
It remains unclear whether anyone was injured in the accident.
The car was removed from the track by 11.32pm and all lines were reopened by 12.52am on Saturday.
